The PLAYMOBIL-FunPark closes on November 2nd – winter season cancelled

Dear FunPark friends,

On October 28, the federal and state governments decided about new measures to contain the corona pandemic, including the closure of leisure facilities. Unfortunately, the PLAYMOBIL-FunPark and the PLAYMOBIL-Hotel will therefore close already from November 2nd, 2020. The outdoor season at the FunPark will thus end one week earlier than planned. The Winter Magic at the FunPark from November 28th will also not take place.

Even though we regret this very much, we hope that this step will help to reduce the number of infections. Your health and that of our employees is our highest priority.

We would like to thank all our fans for the shortened but still amazing season 2020. It included some restrictions, but thanks to your help in keeping the distance and hygiene rules, a summer full of fun and action at the FunPark was possible.

If you have already bought day tickets for the affected period, we will of course refund you the purchase price. Please contact funpark@playmobil.de for this. Bookings at the PLAYMOBIL Hotel can also be cancelled free of charge.

The FunPark-Shop (Brandstätterstraße) and the LECHUZA-Store (Carl-Benz-Straße) in Zirndorf are still open.

We will keep you informed about further developments on all our channels, and are already looking forward to seeing you again! By the way: To comfort you a little over the waiting time until then, you will find great gift ideas for FunPark fans big and small , such as value coupon, in our Online-Shop.

We wish you all the best - please stay safe and healthy!

Hygiene and safety rules

At the PLAYMOBIL-FunPark, the safety and health of our young and old visitors as well as our employees are of particular importance to us. We have therefore taken a number of health protection measures. In addition, we regularly coordinate with the responsible authorities and immediately implement the latest recommendations to contain the coronavirus. Our employees are trained and prepared accordingly.

On the entire grounds of the PLAYMOBIL FunPark as well as at the PLAYMOBIL Hotel, sensitive areas are cleaned at increased intervals and particularly intensively with specially suitable agents. In all sanitary facilities dispensers with disinfectant are available for general use. In addition, there are information signs on the entire FunPark grounds regarding hygiene and distance rules. If you are still unsure how to behave correctly, our staff on site will be glad to help you. The first-aid stations at the PLAYMOBIL-FunPark are also available to you during your visit in case of health questions and uncertainties. We are also in direct contact with local doctors and hospitals.

We do everything for your safety - please help to protect other guests and our staff, too, and follow the generally recommended hygiene rules. This includes wearing a nose and mouth protection, proper hand washing, sneezing and coughing in the crook of your arm, avoiding shaking hands, etc. Please always remember to keep the necessary safety distance (at least 1.5 m) from other visitors. There is enough space on our 90.000 m² large area to play, climb, jump and romp in a safe distance! However, since the majority of our play areas are freely accessible, visitor movement can develop very dynamically. Please help to ensure that all visitors can maintain the necessary safety distances and simply come back later if an area is very crowded. Parents / adults are asked to observe that their children also comply with the distance rules. Markings indicate the necessary distances at sensitive places, e.g. in waiting areas.

Wearing masks

In response to the increased Corona figures, the Bavarian state government has recently issued new regulations to contain the virus ("Corona Ampel"). Due to the increased incidence value in the district of Fürth, these regulations require that masks must be worn throughout the entire park area. All visitors from the 6th birthday onwards must wear nose and mouth protection both in the indoor and outdoor area. It is also mandatory for our employees to wear a nose and mouth mask.

Please note that it is not possible to get admission without bringing a mask.

Visitors who are released from wearing a mask by a medical certificate must present it at the entrance. Please understand that without a valid medical certificate we cannot grant you access.

Should the current legal regulations change, we reserve the right to make appropriate adjustments.

Tip: At the FunPark Shop, reusable masks are available.
