Winter Magic at the PLAYMOBIL-FunPark
During Winter Magic from 27th November 2021 to 6th March 2022, the HOB-Center at the FunPark will once again be offering lots of fun and action. All skating fans can look forward to mega skating action, because this year there are two big ice rinks at the FunPark. At the HOB-Center, you can enjoy play fun with PLAYMOBIL as well as the indoor climbing garden, and the Pirate Lake can be discovered from a different angle during a winter walk. The comprehensive hygiene and safety concept for the winter season includes a limit on the number of visitors again, which is controlled by the sale of online tickets for the morning or afternoon time slots. Please inform yourself in advance on the FunPark website about the currently applicable visitor information and measures for your day of visit (e.g. admission according to the 2G rule).

Two ice rinks – more space for everyone!
If you’re looking for a bit more action, you can take to the ice at two skating rinks this winter. At the roofed, 190 m² ice rink in front of the HOB-Center, the ice skating disco takes place every day from 3 to 6 pm. Here you can strut your stuff to the latest hits, and with a bit of luck, you’ll be joined by PLAYMOBIL mascot Rico and his friends. Thanks to the additional, new skating rink, even more space and more skating fun is now guaranteed. If you don’t bring your own skates, you can hire them for a fee. For ice-skating beginners, there are animal figures to hold on to, which provide security during your first attempts at gliding.
Attention: For safety reasons we recommend to bring a helmet for children who go ice skating (e.g. bike helmet). There are no rental helmets available.
Pirate Lake illuminated
A wintery Magic Trail invites you to take a leisurely stroll around the Pirate Lake, where countless lights spread a very special, romantic winter atmosphere. Illuminated show booths with imaginative PLAYMOBIL worlds invite you to linger and marvel. Children can also search for treasures in the sand at the Pirate Lagoon or race down the slide slope. (Please note: The other FunPark outdoor play areas are closed during wintertime).
Indoor fun at the HOB-Center
After all that action in the fresh winter air, the atmospheric HOB-Center is just the right place to warm up and play to your heart’s content. A huge play city awaits you inside the 5,000 m² glass building, where you can discover the latest PLAYMOBIL worlds and experience great adventures. Talented climbers can let off steam and keep the action going, whatever the weather, in the indoor climbing area with various climbing towers, hanging bridges and slides.
FunPark Winter Night
We have something that’s sure to please all those who want to keep on skating after 6 PM or who want to go for a spin on their skates after work: The FunPark is open for you until 8 PM every Thursday to Saturday for Winter Night. In addition, groups of up to 15 people can rent the two ice rinks exclusively for themselves every Wednesday from 6 PM - the perfect winter fun "after work" with friends, colleagues or club mates.
FunPark Gastronomy in winter
During Winter Magic, our gastronomy offers are sure to delight you around the clock: The family breakfast at the HOB-Center is the ideal start to a day full of play fun. And if playing and ice-skating have made you hungry, you can boost your energy levels with various culinary highlights: Waffles on a stick, mulled wine or children’s punch spread a seductive scent around the ice rink. Delicious bratwurst sausages, crêpes and and hot punch offer the perfect refreshment at the Pirate Lake. During the long opening days from Thursday to Saturday, changing delicacies await hungry skaters.
Winter Magic Weeks at the PLAYMOBIL-Hotel
The PLAYMOBIL-Hotel will again be open in winter this year – ideal for all those who have a longer journey. Wednesdays to Saturdays from 27th November 2021 to 9th January 2022, the winter package at the PLAYMOBIL-Hotel allows you to start your FunPark adventure in complete relaxation. It includes an overnight stay with breakfast and a 2-day ticket for two adults and two children, as well as skate hire for four people for unlimited fun on the ice rinks. The family-friendly PLAYMOBIL themed rooms are decorated for Christmas – you can feel at home here after an exciting day and get in the mood for the upcoming holidays. The winter package costs 225 euros, individual stays are also possible.
Relaxed Christmas shopping
Those who are still looking for a gift idea for their loved ones of all ages can not only be inspired by playing but can also browse the extensive ranges of the FunPark-Shop directly on site. Just a few steps away from the Magic Trail at the Pirate Ship is the LECHUZA-Store with an extensive assortment of planters featuring exceptional design and the original LECHUZA irrigation system.
