On 13 June 2026, everything at the PLAYMOBIL-FunPark will revolve around a topic that concerns us all – safety in and around the water. Together with the German Life Saving Association (DLRG), we invite you to an exciting activity day all about safe swimming fun – with hands‑on activities, real rescue professionals and plenty of fun for the whole family.
Learn and get active at five stations
Especially on hot summer days, families flock to lakes, outdoor pools or the seaside. To ensure that the fun in the water remains carefree, our activity day teaches children in an engaging and interactive way just how important the right behaviour in the water is.
At five varied activity stations, you can learn all about the rules for safe swimming, gain insights into the work of lifesavers and even take a close look at a real emergency vehicle. Along the way, not only exciting discoveries await, but also great prizes for everyone taking part in the DLRG rally.
PLAYMOBIL x DLRG: Working together for safe swimming fun
For more than 20 years, the DLRG has been committed to raising children’s awareness of the dangers in and around water through a nationwide prevention programme. The figures are alarming: around one in two children in Germany cannot swim safely after primary school. In 2025 alone, 393 people drowned, including 13 children aged 0 to 10. To counter this development, PLAYMOBIL has been supporting the DLRG’s prevention work since 2025 with new teaching materials in PLAYMOBIL design, playful learning opportunities and the Vacation on the Beach theme world, whose sales additionally support DLRG projects. The family activity day at the PLAYMOBIL-FunPark is another step towards combining playtime fun with safety in and around the water.
