DLRG Activity Day

Together for safe fun in the water!

What could be nicer than jumping into refreshing, cool water on hot days and splashing around to your heart’s content? To ensure that playing in and around the water is safe for all young water lovers, PLAYMOBIL and the DLRG are working hand in hand to improve water safety for children.

On Saturday, 13 June, the organisation will be visiting the FunPark with exciting hands-on activities for you to join in!

Learn important information about swimming safety rules, find out more about the work of the lifeguards and marvel at a real DLRG rescue vehicle. Collect the correct answers at the five stations and, with a bit of luck, win great prizes.

After this day, you’ll be perfectly prepared for holiday trips to the lake, the outdoor pool or the seaside – because fun, games and safety in and around the water go hand in hand!
 

How to take part:

• Collect your entry form
  Entry forms (German only) are available at the entrance, in the HOB-Center, or at any of the DLRG activity stations.  

   

• Visit activity stations
  Collect the correct answers and get your participation stamps.

• Hand in your form
  by 5:00 PM at the HOB-Center information desk

• Take part in the prize draw
  at 5:15 PM on the HOB-Center stage (prior to mini disco) 
  Prizes will only be awarded to participants who are present.

PLAYMOBIL x DLRG

For more than 20 years, the DLRG has been committed to raising children’s awareness of the dangers in and around water through a nationwide prevention programme. The figures are alarming: around one in two children in Germany cannot swim safely after primary school. In 2025 alone, 393 people drowned, including 13 children aged 0 to 10. To counter this development, PLAYMOBIL has been supporting the DLRG’s prevention work since 2025 with new teaching materials in PLAYMOBIL design, playful learning opportunities and the Vacation on the Beach theme world, whose sales additionally support DLRG projects. The family activity day at the PLAYMOBIL-FunPark is another step towards combining playtime fun with safety in and around the water.
