Of course we think it's great here. What we would like to know is: Why is the HOB-Center so huge? Why are there such big boxes hanging from the ceiling? What is the stage for? When do events take place here? Where can we find more information about this? Or do you rent out the HOB?

First of all, I am very pleased that you have enjoyed your stay here so much. Thank you very much for your interesting question.

On our stage, the popular mini disco takes place, mostly at the weekends. But we don't need all the technical equipment just for that. We have already had concerts by music schools here. And there are also concerts for children.

Hello Luca,

Thank you for your question. You kids are always quite curious ;-) But that's a good thing!

Well, I anchored at the FunPark around the year 2000 and thus also stranded here. It's just too beautiful here to sail away again. But as an old sea dog, I don't exactly remeber my age. You are always as young as you feel. And I still feel very fit.

But that's probably also because I have soooooo much fun working here at the FunPark. It's just great to see my friends having a great day here at the park. And it's worth the effort to keep the park in a great shape every day.

If we don't meet each other during the next few days, I'm really looking forward to March 27^th, 2023. That's when the FunPark opens again and I'm already really looking forward to it!

If I buy the season ticket online today, will I already be able to use it when visiting FunPark on the same day? Does the ticket office accept the booking confirmation?

Hello Pancy,

It’s nice to hear from you.

If you have ordered a season ticket, you can visit the park on the same day. But you have to go to the information desk at the PLAYMOBIL-FunPark-Shop first to pick up your season ticket.

The season ticket is really great. You don't need an online ticket, you can visit me at any time and you have lots of advantages on top. For example, you can save 10% on purchases at the shop. You can also collect points with every purchase. In return, you will receive a surprise at the end of the season. But we won't tell you what it is yet ;-)

You can also charge money onto your season ticket so you don't need cash at the park. Then you have your pockets and hands free for more important things, such as a delicious ice cream to cool down ;-)

But what I find most amazing is the birthday voucher. If it's your birthday, we'll send you a €5 voucher by email. Isn’t that great? You can redeem it right away on your next visit and use it to fulfil a small wish at the shop or buy something tasty.

So you can say a season ticket is really worth it.

Thank you so much for your message. I am always so happy to receive mail. Only children can ask such creative questions.

The PLAYMOBIL-FunPark is constantly growing and changing. So I can't tell you exactly how long it took to set it up. We started very small in 2000. Since then, the Mermaid Kingdom has been added, the Magical Fairyland, my ship has been renovated... I just don't know where to start ;-)

Thank you very much for your message.

Hmm, that's a good question. But I think it's different for every big and small guest. However, on hot days, many guests favour the water areas. Whether it's the Water Playground or the Mermaid Kingdom - here, all mermaids and mermen can play to their heart’s content.

But actually, all the play areas at my park are great. Climbing, go-karting or even rafting with the parents - there's something for everyone.

Last year the play city was empty because of Corona. Now almost all the rules have been lifted again. Are there toys in the play city again now? I would soooo like to finally play with the vehicles and the football tables again.

The play city is open as usual. So you can try out all the toys and play with the vehicles to your heart's content. The football tables will be set up again for the World Cup. Until then, you're sure to find plenty of other toys in the play city. And of course it's also worthwile exploring the outdoor area. Maybe you will even find one or two things there that you might not have discovered yet. In any case, I hope you will have lots of fun at the PLAYMOBIL-FunPark.

Dear Magdalena,

It's nice that you are writing to me. At the moment it is sooooo boring here at the park without my friends. But the preparations for the start of the new season are already going on. On April 4th, the FunPark will finally open its doors again and the fun can begin. The paddle boats are already floating on the Paddling Lake again. They can be used by children from the age of 4 years and up to 50 kg.

The rafts at the Pirate Lake are also a great way to sail across the lake. They are located right next to my home, the Pirate Ship. Maybe that would be an alternative for you, too?

I have visited your park twice this year, even though I have to drive 3 hours. My birthday is in April and I will turn 8 years old then. I’d love to visit you preferably on Easter Monday and stay overnight at the hotel, are you already open then? And does the Easter bunny also hide Easter eggs there?

I am very happy that you enjoy my park so much ;-)

That's a great birthday idea you've come up with - spending your birthday with me at the PLAYMOBIL-FunPark and staying overnight in a PLAYMOBIL room.

Do you know what else is great about the sleepover? The breakfast for our hotel guests at the HOB-Center. Parents can have a relaxed breakfast and children can already play to their hearts' content with the PLAYMOBIL themes in the play city.

We will probably start from 04/04/22 with a soft opening week, so we will be open on Easter Monday. Regarding the hotel stay, please tell your parents they have to book in time so you won’t miss out on an overnight stay. The nice staff at the hotel will help you, please ask your parents to write an email to hotel@playmobil.de.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that everything will work out and you’ll be able to spend your birthday with me. And I’ll be glad to hear from you again when you know that everything has worked out.

Yes, we do what we can so that children and their families can have a great, carefree day with us. We are glad to hear this works so well.
It would be fantastic to be able to meet in winter. Hopefully we will be able to open our park. We could do a few laps on the ice together. And during a break, we could warm up with a delicious punch and stroll around the pirate lake. If you're hungry, you can enjoy a tasted grilled sausage in a roll. Oh, it would be nice if that worked out. Then I'd have a reason to look forward to the cold weather :-)

thank you very much for your message. I am really always very happy when I get mail from my friends ;-) I really hope that it will be possible to hold jousting tournaments again next year. Unfortunately we can't offer it at the moment.

Have you been to FunPark this year? At the Kingdom of the Mermaids there are now also anemones that spray water vapor. That is soooooo great on a hot summer day!!! You'll have to check it out with your parents.

I would definitely be very happy if we ever meet at my FunPark.

My name is Noah-Noel and I will be 2 years old in February. To me, you are super great. My grandma bought me the cuddly Rico toy in summer. Since then I take it everywhere with me. During the season I was often at your FunPark and enjoyed the Farm and the water play corners. But the absolute highlight of every visit was the personal meeting with you. This made the trip just perfect! But Rico, why do you have a Police but no Fire Department, even though it is mentioned in your mini disco song? I would be glad to hear from you.

A Fire Department would be really great, you are right. Almost every year we have a new play world at the FunPark. Maybe I can convince the FunPark builders that we also need a Fire Station. After all, we also have a Police Station. I'll see what I can do - okay?

Rico prepaires the FunPark for the winter pause.

I am 7 years old and love to go karting in the funpark. Two years ago, when I was 5, I was not allowed to drive. Last year I was allowed to drive, I was 6 then. This year I am 7 and I am not allowed to drive. Now they say I am too small. My Mom says she can’t find this information on your website, and I just don't understand it.

Thank you for your message. I can understand your confusion.

For my friends and me it is also difficult to set a specific standard for our visitors here. We had to realize that especially smaller children could not kick the pedals because the karts are a bit too heavy. That's why we decided on a minimum size and not on a minimum age. This is also what the manufacturers of the go-karts recommend. On our website, we mention that there’s a minimum size for our go-karts.

Nevertheless, I am totally sorry that you were so disappointed. I hope that you will be able to drive the go-karts next time you visit us!

oh dear - first of all I wish you a speedy recovery. Hopefully you won't get too bored now.

Of course you can spend also a great day here when you’re in a wheelchair.

After you have crossed the drawbridge at the main entrance, go in the direction of the HOB-Center, from where you take the elevator to the 2nd level to get to the Action Park. Unfortunately you can't really have fun on our bouncing pillow with a broken leg, but after that it is only a few meters to the Magical Fairyland and the shells. There is a short but steep path to overcome (mom or dad will have to push a little here), then you will be at the upper part of the FunPark. Here you can fish for small water animals in a wheelchair-accessible shell.

Past the paddle boats, the octa climbing net and the Farm you will reach the water channels. Here you can play in a wheelchair with PLAYMOBIL articles that swim. The Mermaid Kingdom is located right behind it. Here, a mud play table is accessible from a wheelchair.

After you have conquered the castle with rolling wheels, you will reach the Pirate Lake via the Pirate Lagoon. Here, many pirate adventure await you! In addition to a raft suitable for wheelchairs for an adventurous trip across the pirate lake, there is also an appropriate raft with which you can conquer the shipwreck.

As you can see, we offer a lot of water fun here. So you might have to be careful with the plaster, or your parents will have to make it a little bit more waterproof with a protective foil ;-)

In any case, I am really looking forward to your visit. Maybe we will even meet!

Actually, our day-specific tickets cannot be returned. However, as we would like to welcome many happy children here, we have decided to offer exchanging online day tickets once, if necessary. So if you are sick on the planned day of your visit, your parents can write an email to funpark@playmobil.de, and my team will be happy to help. By the way, don't hesitate to come here even when it's raining. In case of small showers, there are many places where you can take shelter for a little while, and you only have to wait a short time until you can play in your favourite area. There are also no long queues in our gastronomy, which gives you more time to play ;-)

I'm glad to hear from you.

It's soooo boring here without my friends. But we are busy making the FunPark an even greater place. The police station has already been given a new coat of paint. And the new Mermaid Kingdom is ready to be discovered, too.
Unfortunately, my new Pirate Ship has not yet sailed on the big sea. But this is something I am really dreaming of!
If it still lasts some more time until we can open the park due to the Coronavirus, I might lift my anchor and see where my ship will take me.
But actually I hope to be able to welcome all my friends back soon.

What do you do all day long? Do you have a lot to do for school? I'd be very happy if you write to me again.

Currently, the construction of the new Mermaid Kingdom is going really well. I am already so excited about it.

How many secret passages does the Knights Castle have?

Dear Elina,

Thank you for this interesting question. I will tell this secret to you - but please don't snitch on me when you meet the knights, okay?

In fact, there's only one secret passage at the castle. The tricky thing about it is that it has four entrances/exits. I'm sure you have already discovered one or the other of it. When passing underneath the rostrum from the inner courtyard, you will enter the secret passage. Attention: Mind the dragon which is lurking here! 

From outside the castle, there are two entrances on the ground. But you have to be really brave to climb into these dark tunnels. The fourth entrance is below the castle, towards the HOB-Center. Here, you have to sneak along the castle wall past the guards to find the entrance to the secret passage.

Please, please don't tell the knights that you have this information from me! Will you come here to go and find all the entrances yourself? ;-)

Why don't the PLAYMOBIL figures have a nose?

Thanks for writing to me. I am happy to answer your question!

When the inventor of PLAYMOBIL thought about how the PLAYMOBIL figures should look like one day, he first drew them with a nose. However, that seemed to clownish to him. He had also watched how children painted humans, and what seemed important for them to recognize a face. It became obvious that ears and nose were often ommitted. That's the reason why the figures look this way today.

After all, a pirate like me would look quite odd with a clown's nose, wouldn't he? :)

I wish you a lot of fun playing with your PLAYMOBIL toys and would be glad to welcome you here at the PLAYMOBIL-FunPark again.

It is great that you will visit me this year!

Our Magical Fairyland is open during low season, too, so you will be able to look for treasures in the magic shells there. If you enjoy treasure hunting, I invite you to also drop by at our gold mine and the new pirate world. Here, you can go and find many amazing treasures, too :-)

The renovation during low season is taking place at our sand and mud playground. It will be redesigned and extended, and therefore closed from September 10, 2019. Next year, life-size PLAYMOBIL mermaids with long hair will be waiting here to be styled by you! I am already quite excited and curious whether you will like them as much as the mermaids from your playroom. Will you visit me again when the new Kingdom of Mermaids has been opened?

I hope you have a lot of fun during your visit this year, and keep my fingers crossed that you will find many treasures to take home for your mermaids.

As a genuine buccaneer, the pirate world is of course where my heart is. I’m looking forward to the new ship so much – soon we will be able to go aboard together! But I also have a secret favourite spot: the Ice cream parlor. Before I set off to my next adventures, I love to enjoy a sundae here  ;-)
