Bienen-Rallye
It’s World Bee Day on 20 May! Would you like to find out more about these busy insects? Then we have an exciting activity for you this week!
From Tuesday 20 to Saturday 24 May, you can take part daily in a bee rally at the PLAYMOBIL-FunPark and put your bee knowledge to the test. Pick up your rally sheet at the HOB-Center information desk and off you go!
Our bee adventure trail will give you clues to the correct answers. What do bees actually do, how do they live and how does the honey get into the jar? You can find out all this during your visit to the FunPark.
As a thank you for taking part in the bee rally, all children will receive a seed mix for their own flower meadow.* And your parents will receive a discount coupon for the LECHUZA stores in Zirndorf and Dietenhofen.* In addition to the high-quality planters with integrated irrigation system from LECHUZA as well as substrates and accessories, you will also get suitable tips about blooming plants for your balcony or patio
What is World Bee Day?
World Bee Day was launched by the UN in 2018 to inform people about the role of bees as pollinators for wild plants and crops.
Bees at the PLAYMOBIL-FunPark
In cooperation with beefuture, we welcomed the first bee colony at the PLAYMOBIL-FunPark in spring 2024. That means you can watch the bees at work live here. Four more bee colonies were also settled on the green areas next to the PLAYMOBIL-Hotel and the neighbouring administration building, and in spring 2025, another ten bee colonies were added to the Horst Brandstätter Group's extensive premises. Our bees are looked after by the experienced beekeepers from beefuture.
